The RAC-CT certification program consists of 10 education courses designed for post-acute care professionals with at least six months of experience with the MDS/RAI process. If you have less than six months of experience, consider taking MDS Essentials as a foundation to get you started and make sure you’re prepared to succeed in the RAC-CT program. This workshop covers the following content:

• MDS Coding for OBRA and PPs, parts 1 and 2
• OBRA Timing and Scheduling
• Care Area Assessments
• Introduction to Medicare Part A
• Care Planning
• Introduction to ICD-10-CM Coding for Long-Term Care
• Five-Star Rating System
• Quality Measures
• Managing PDPM in the SNF

Your workshop registration includes access to the 10 RAC-CT certification exams. To earn the RAC-CT credential, you must successfully complete the associated final certification exams with a score of 80% or higher. You will have one year from the date of the workshop before they expire. There are three exam attempts per course. Recertification is required every two years. *PLEASE NOTE: This workshop is geared towards those who are not yet RAC-CT certified.   This workshop will be hosted online, through a virtual platform. Your registration includes four days of instruction from a Master Teacher, access to digital workshop materials, and access to the 10 certification exams. We suggest downloading and saving each PDF to a device of your choice. Although not required, you may print the PDFs at your own expense. If you decide to print your materials, please remember that changes and updates are continually incorporated into the workshop materials. Schedule

Cancellations received more than 30 business days prior to the start date of the workshop will receive a full refund. Cancellations received 14-30 business days prior to the start date of the workshop will receive a full refund, minus a $250 processing fee paid to Training Partner. To implement quality assurance and process improvement (QAPI) strategies in long-term care effectively, you need strong nurse leadership. To achieve that leadership, follow the QAPI principles taught in this course to help you fulfill your mission to provide the best possible care and quality of life for your resident. The QCP certification is designed for directors of nursing services, QAPI managers, nursing home administrators, nurse managers, social services directors, activities directors, and staff development directors.
